AMÛDE– the chief of refugees camps in Cizîre Canton expects that the number of Iraqi refugees might exceed 100,000 if battles to free Mosul started.
Some Iraqi areas and particularly the countryside of Mosul witness ferocious battles between the Iraqi army supported by’’ People’s Crowd’’ forces and ISIS gangs. Consequently, many Iraqis have fled the countryside of Mosul to other areas of Rojava.

The UN Commission does not collaborate
Mahmoud Kirro criticized the handling of the UN High Commission for refugees of this case, noting’’ it does not collaborate at all in the case of the Iraqi refugees in Rojava’’.
He also noted that around 102,000 SM is needed to establish a camp, and it would cost about 50 million SP, the High Commission however does not help in this concern.
Kirro assured that the camp includes now 180 tents, and 250 pre-made rooms, the existing number however needs 420 tents.
The daily costs make up a million
the chief of refugees camps revealed that the daily costs in al-Hol camp reach around a million at least, the Self-Rule Administration affords refugees need’s even before a few days ago, and some organizations sent food baskets sufficient for a month to each family.
Mahmoud Kirro expected that the number of refugees will exceed 100,000 refugees especially with the imminent battles in Mosul, whose population is of 4 millions.
Kirro warned of the continuation of the siege on Rojava which would not able it receive such a huge number of refugees, and that would cause a humanitarian disaster.
