The Kurdish lists in the Iraqi Council of Representative declared in a press conference that they are not with suspending the Iraqi parliament.
Today May 16, 2016, the heads of the Kurdish lists in the Iraqi parliament held a meeting in Sulaimani to on the Iraqi current situations.
Considering Kurdish participation in the upcoming Iraqi sessions, they declared that Kurdish representatives will not participate in any parliamentary sessions unless they are given foreseeable promises and guarantees.
The Kurdish lists are ready to hold meetings with the Iraqi lists and parties to discuss on the issues, they added.
“We insist on the requirements and proposals we gave to Dr Haider al-Abadi, the Iraqi Prime minister, cabinet at the beginning of forming the new cabinet,” added by one of the participants of the meeting.
The heads of Kurdish lists finally insisted that they are demanding for a generic parliamentary session, and the Kurds never demand for suspending the Council of representative.
