QAMIŞLO – Lawyers in Cezîre Canton wanted the legislative, executive, and judiciary powers to be separated and clearly identified in the Social Contract of the Democratic Federal System in Rojava-Northern Syria.
The committee of the social contract continues visiting different groups and organizations to get their suggestions for making laws of the federal system.
The committee yesterday had a meeting with the lawyers in the People’s Court of Qamişlo to hear their suggestions for the social contract that is expected to be written in mid-April.
The main point of the lawyers was that legislative, executive and judiciary powers must be separated and well defined in the social contract. They also noted that they are always ready to contribute to the process of writing the social contract.
