Jihadist gangs have been attacking the Sheikh Maqsoud (Şêx Meqsûd) neighborhood of Aleppo since March 6.
Gangs supported by Turkey continue their attacks on the mainly Kurdish neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsoud in Syria’s Aleppo city. The death toll in the neighborhood since the current ceasefire began in Syria reached 17.
Gangs affiliated to groups such as Ahrar Al-Sham a Islamî, Ketîbeyên Sultan Murad, Lîwai Sultan Mihemed Fatih, Ketîbeyên Nûrdîn Zengîn, Feyleq Al-Şam, Ceyş Al-Islam, Ceyş Al-Mucahidîn, Ketîbeyên Fisteqim Kema Emert, Ketîbeyên Ebû Emar, Tevgera Fecir Al-Şam Al-Islamiye, Cebhe Şamiye, Siqûr Al-Cebel, Lîwai 13, Foca yekem, Ketîbeya 116, Ehfad Umer, Feyleq Al-Rehman, Firqeya 101, Fûca Yekem, Lîwai Muntesir Bilah and Jabhat Al-Nusra based in Cendûl crossroad, Rustem Pasha neighborhood, Benî Zêd, Seken Şebabî and Kastêlo attacked PYD controlled Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood with artillery and rockets. 5 people were killed today, raising the death toll to 17. The total number of injured civilians is 26.
Kurdish forces did a sweep-up operation in the destroyed buildings, and evacuated the dead bodies of one child and four adults. One wounded child was rescued during the sweep-up operation, and the bombardment targeting the mainly Kurdish neighborhood continues.
